Kris_Perry.jpgWe are delighted to welcome Kris Perry to this year’s 2019 California Forum for Professional Development.

Kris is currently the Deputy Secretary for the California Health and Human Services Agency and Senior Advisor to the Governor on Implementation of Early Childhood Development Initiatives.

Prior to her current appointment, she served as President of Save the Children Action Network where she led the political advocacy arm of Save the Children, where she led efforts to build bipartisan support to make sure every child in the U.S. has access to high-quality early learning and to protect children living in conflict zones around the world. Prior to that, Kris was Executive Director of the First Five Years Fund, where she led advocacy efforts for a smarter, stronger, healthier and more productive America through high-quality early childhood education.

Kris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the robust program of the Forum. The Forum offers deep conversations that explore our roles as providers of professional development. You don't want to miss your opportunity to connect with Kris Perry in Palm Springs.

The Forum offers numerous values. From the high level of presenters on the cutting edge in their fields, to the opportunity to pause and reflect on our work. The Forum has offered clarity and will help us in our work with early childhood educators. Everyone would benefit from attending the Forum, and I can't wait to attend again next year!"
