The California Forum for Professional Development envisions comprehensive and effective professional learning for California's Early Childhood Education system.
Mission
- Participants will build a community of diverse providers of professional learning for California’s early childhood education system including coaches, mentors, trainers, specialists, consultants, managers, coordinators, college instructors, technical assistance providers, and other roles that support professional learning,
- Participants will be empowered with the dispositions, knowledge and skills they need to support educators on their professional journeys including information about subject content, pedagogy, andragogy, and systems thinking, and
- Participants will collaborate on a comprehensive vision of quality for teacher preparation, induction, and ongoing professional learning.
