Rachel Johnson

Rachel Johnson has worked in the field of Early Education for more than 25 years. She has served in various roles including direct classroom experience, program director of a state funded program, served as a quality support coach in the Los Angeles area working with all types of early childhood programs, a national trainer for Teachstone, training on the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS), an anchor for the Environmental Rating Scales and CLASS, and now is currently serving as a Child Development Assistant Professor and Co-Chair.  Rachel has been working with the CLASS tools since 2008 and is a trainer on Infant to third grade as well as any other CLASS training Teachstone requests her to train on. She has traveled across the country training people to become reliable observers and trainers and has used this tool and the practices behind the tool to coach and teach teachers across the country.
