Stacy Sewell is a credentialed teacher with over 20 years of experience in education. She works at the Sacramento County Office of Education as a Coordinator in the Early Learning Department. She recently assisted with leading the work to develop 10 online transitional kindergarten professional learning modules for the CDE.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Sewell was a transitional kindergarten teacher, an early childhood education/parent education consultant, as well as a kindergarten-2nd grade elementary teacher. Prior to teaching in the TK-12 system, she was a Parent Education Program Specialist for Santa Clara Unified School District. Spending 15 years in adult education, she coordinated the annual Parent University conference, taught parent education, and preschool. She has had extensive experience teaching parenting courses to pregnant/parenting teens, homeless women, and court-mandated parents.
